The Fresson Trust is an aviation charity set up in 1991 with the objective of furthering the knowledge of aviation past, present and future, for the benefit of people living in, or visiting the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, by all possible means, and in memory of Captain Ernest Edmund Fresson, OBE (1891-1963).

The Fresson Trust offers financial assistance to people aspiring to follow careers in aviation, particularly prospective pilots, engineers and air traffic controllers.

The Trust organises events to commemorate various anniversaries of Captain Fresson and his airline, so as to keep his achievements in view of the public and to encourage others to follow in his footsteps. It is also actively collecting the logbooks and memorabilia of aircrew that have flown in the Highlands and Islands.
